Diana Krall - I Love Being Here With You

Como a música é um tema recorrente no Geografia e tal, desde o início do ano que estava pensando em postar uma canção que traduzisse o espírito do blog e demonstrasse o meu carinho a todos aqueles que chegam nestas páginas, seja de forma intencional ou por obra do mais puro acaso.

E por falar em casualidade, a escolha da canção I Love Being Here With You, composta por Peggy Lee e Bill Schluger, caiu como uma luva diante daquilo que pretendia.

A começar pelo título da música, que representa muito bem o quanto é estimulante dividir com vocês alguns assuntos que considero importantes, interessantes e até mesmo divertidos.

Sobre Diana Krall, sinceramente, ela dispensa maiores comentários ou apresentações.

A única observação que deixo aqui é que, num cenário que só podia ser o Rio de Janeiro (a gravação deu origem ao DVD Diana Live in Rio, de 2008), uma bela e talentosa artista canadense fazendo a ponte entre a nossa Bossa Nova e o Jazz só vem a comprovar que a música aproxima pessoas e possui uma linguagem universal, que vai muito e muito além de gêneros ou fronteiras geográficas.

Por fim, parafraseando a letra, não importa onde ou como for, o que vale mesmo é estar aqui com vocês.
